Why Rhize OS exists

We were tired of watching owners pay agency rates for work that disappeared.

You've seen it: $3k a month to an agency, a stack of disconnected tools, and nothing you could point to that actually moved the business. We built Rhize OS because the problem was never the owner — it was that none of it was built to work together, and to be owned by you.

The Story

We kept walking into the same business. A successful owner — $2M, $3M, $5M a year — running everything through themselves. Quotes sitting unsent because only they could send them. The same customer re-keyed into three systems that don't talk. Real numbers locked in a spreadsheet nobody trusts. They'd built a job, not a business — and it couldn't run without them.

Most had already tried to fix it. They'd bought the seventh tool. They'd hired the agency that took $3k a month and handed back a report full of impressions. None of it stuck, because none of it was built to work together — and a lot of vendors profit from keeping it that way.

So we stopped selling services off a menu and built one connected system instead — Rhize OS. One operating system that runs the back office, the pipeline, and how the business gets found. Owned by the operator, not rented from us. The opposite of a campaign you have to keep buying.

Between us we've spent years in the mud of this work — the development, the SEO, the automation, the AI implementation — long enough to know the difference between something that demos well and something that still runs a year later. That's the only kind of thing we'll put our name on.

The Founders

Tom Cassidy

Co-Founder — Marketing, Automation & AI

Tom's background is in marketing strategy, CRM automation, and AI implementation. He's the person in the room who asks “what does this do for the business?” before anything ships — making sure every system maps to booked jobs and that your team can actually run it once he's done. The fractional technical brain your business never hired.

Jim Deola

Co-Founder — Development, AI & SEO

Jim is a full-stack developer who builds the part that compounds — the websites, the AI workflows, and the data graph that ties a business's operations into one system instead of seven. He pairs deep SEO expertise with hands-on AI implementation, and builds production-grade integrations that still run a year later. No templates, no shortcuts, no hostage code — what he builds, you own.

What We Believe

The answer to “how is this different from the agency that burned me?”

01

Systems compound. Campaigns expire.

An agency's work depreciates the day they stop — the next campaign, the next retainer, the next invoice. A system you own gets smarter and more valuable the longer it runs. We build the thing that compounds, not the thing you have to keep buying.

02

You own everything we build.

The system, the data, the accounts — all yours from day one. No black boxes, no lock-in, no machine you can't touch without calling us. We train your team and document it, so the OS serves you instead of making you dependent on us.

03

We don't stop until it's live and working.

We don't call a system "done" because we shipped it — we call it done when it's running and doing its job. If it isn't, we keep working until it is, at no extra cost. Implementation is the beginning, not the finish line.

04

Measured in booked jobs, not impressions.

We're not interested in dashboards full of vanity metrics. We track jobs booked, revenue earned, and hours handed back to the owner. If we can't tie what we're doing to a number that moves your business, we shouldn't be doing it.

The name Rhize comes from rhizome— the underground root system where plants grow laterally, interconnected rather than top-down. It's how we think about an operating system: one connected thing that grows under the surface and compounds, not a stack of disconnected tools bolted on top.
